Dos and Don’ts Before and After Your Treatment
BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT:
Do not take aspirin or consume alcohol 24 hours prior to your treatment.
Avoid coffee the morning of your appointment.
Refrain from eating spicy meals a few days before your appointment.
Avoid waxing, laser or electrolysis close to the treatment zone one week before your appointment
Avoid tanning beds or sunbathing a minimum of 48 hours before your appointment.
Do not use shampoo or conditioner the day of your treatment.
AFTER YOUR TREATMENT:
We STRONGLY RECOMMEND that you refrain from shaving the treated area for a minimum of 4 days.
We recommend that you wait 4 days following your treatment before you wash or get your head wet.
When it is time to wash your head, we recommend using a mild shampoo. You can scrub with your fingers but avoid scratching with your nails.
Shampoos that contain sulfates or silicone and all deeply cleansing shampoos are strongly discouraged, as they can damage your results.
It is important to avoid sun exposure for a minimum of 4 days.
You must wait 14 days after the final treatment to go to a sauna or bathe in a chlorinated swimming pool.
